The stripe pattern that adds visual interest to the velvet surface with the striated woven lines. Made from a luxury cotton velvet from Robert Allen, this pillow cover is super heavyweight and durable (rated at 100,000 double rubs on the abrasion scale!) Please keep in mind velvet has a directional nap. Depending on your viewing angle, which direction you brush the nap and your room lighting, the color may appear darker or lighter.
